Experimenting with primary colors and alternate surfaces to paint onto. Exploring color theory and the color wheel, aesthetic of color.
This artist was the first name that came into my head when I was painting on the log because of her loose expressive spray painting using trees. The inspiration also came from Kandinsky and his synesthesia and ability to paint colors/shapes when listening to music.

Katrina Grosse- Abstract, spray painted, blocked into one corner of the space, an explosion and expression of colour, presence and movement. This artist is very relatable in terms of my work and hers. We both use an abstract approach and freedom of movement and fluidity within our methods and the way in which we use media/materials to enhance the experience and overall aesthetic look of paints overlaid onto large objects, whatever they may be. Textures, surfaces, placement/composition, exhibiting/curation and installation are all the ingredients I have been trying to mix into my bowl of creative cake mix.
